Why are there three pricing requirements?
Web design is the visual and functional aspects of your website. Think of the blueprint and decor of a house – how it looks, feels, and functions. For a website, this would be the content, layout, colors, and interactive elements. Designing a website requires tedious hours of work and lots of experience.
Web hosting is a subscription to keep your website online. Think of it as a mortgage you are paying to continue living in your house. Along with this, it includes the maintenance to keep your website functional. Think of this as the utilities that keep your house functional, like electricity, water, and gas. For web hosting, this would be the security, performance, backups, server space, etc. One subscription will cover all of this.
The domain is the name of your website. This is your intellectual property and you are required to purchase it with a domain registrar. Think of this as your house’s address, which defines your house. Your domain defines your website.
Will I be able to edit my website myself?
Yes! After the completion of your website, you will receive a dedicated admin login, where you can edit most of your website anytime. I build your website on a content management system (CMS), allowing you to make updates like changing your content, updating images, etc. Your dashboard will instruct you on how to do this.
How long will it take to complete my website?
The timeline depends on the complexity of the project. Depending on how much content you want to add, it can take a few weeks. On average, a 6-page website can take up to 2 weeks (most of the time, less). A more complex website may take up to 4 weeks.
Do I need to purchase a domain name separately?
Yes, domain names are purchased by you through a domain registrar. It is your responsibility to keep your domain’s subscription up-to-date with that registrar. My recommended domain registrar is Cloudflare, and I am happy to assist you with the domain registration.
I own a domain name already, what do I do?
Great, you already own a domain name! Depending on the domain registrar, I will guide you on how to give me access to your domain’s settings.
Can you help with branding, logos, and graphics?
Yes, I am an experienced, self-employed web designer who wants to make sure your website aligns with your business’s identity. I offer branding services that include logo designs, custom graphics, and branding guides.

What happens if something breaks on my website after it launches?
Since you pay for web hosting, I offer ongoing support and maintenance services to ensure your website runs smoothly 24/7. I’ll handle all of the technical issues that arise.
How can I switch my web hosting subscription (monthly/annually)?
If your current subscription is eligible, you can request to switch by going to your website’s admin dashboard.
Steps to switch:
Your website’s dashboard > Click ‘Billing’ in the dashboard menu > Click ‘Switch to Annual/Monthly Subscription’ > Submit the request to switch.Your request may take up to 2 business days to process. Submit your request accordingly before your next auto-renewal date.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Once canceled, your website will remain online until the end of your current billing period. After that, your website will be removed indefinitely.
How am I charged for my web hosting subscription?
Nathan Allan Co. uses Stripe, a trusted payment-processing software that manages your subscription automatically. It will automatically charge your default payment method on file every billing period. You can update this information in the ‘Billing Portal.’
What is your refund policy?
You can view my refund policy in my Client Terms & Conditions. To summarize, I do not offer refunds. In the unlikely event that a refund is granted, please allow 7 business days for the refund to process in your bank account.

Add a page to your web design package. Depending on how much content is on your page, the starting price is $60.
Animations
$30+/Page
Want to animate your site? For example, fade-in words, reveal photos, fade-in buttons, etc. These can help enhance the look of your website. This is starting at $30 per page. Animations slightly slow down your website.
Custom Form
$20+/Form
Direct online forms require linking your domain’s DNS settings to an SMTP software to allow submissions to be sent to your email. This is another process, which will start at $20 per form.
Menu

Online menus are vital for websites with many pages. You may need to have multiple menus in order to differentiate parts of your website for easier functionality for visitors.
